DESCRIPTION OF MACHINE:

·       K-PAS Core Squeezing and Sizing Machine is developed to reduce the size of Core and Mantle upon a specific time period in a continuous interval.

·       This machine is used as a Production Unit.

·       K-PAS Core Squeezing and Sizing Machine is developed based on combining Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic procedures.

·       Hydraulic Items used in the Machine are Hydraulic Cylinder, Solenoid Valve, Motor, and Pressure Switch which are used to control the movement of the Cylinder where the part is compressed and decompressed.

·       The Mechanical Components installed in the Machine comprise of Frame to support.

MECHANICAL:

          The Machine consists of MS Base Plate which is mounted with the Fixtures and mounted on Anti Vibration Pads with wheel. The Squeezing Component is placed on top of the Base Plate which is connected with the Cylinder.

HYDRAULICS:

          Hydraulic Power Pack is placed behind the Machine Table. This setup is made of Pressure Gauge, Check Valves, Solenoid Valves which are all interlinked with the Motor Setup, Hydraulic setup and the Squeezing Cylinder. All cylinders and the valve parts number and the make are standard type and we have mentioned those in the Hydraulic Schematic Diagram.

CORE SQUEEZING AND SIZING MACHINE:

          The Core Squeezing and Sizing  consists of Hydraulic Cylinder , Cylinder Mounting MS Plate, Perfect Round Cylinder, Rubber Ring, Water Cooled Copper Pipes, Upper Limit Switches, Push Button Box containing Start, Reset, Emergency Stop, Cylinder Movement, Hydraulic ON/OFF and Auto Mode or Manual Mode, Component Unloading Magnet etc.

The Operator Loads the Core and Mantle in the Segment Body so that the arrow on the Mantle is facing Topside

Check that there is no peeling of brazing foil from the Upper Area of the Core.

After the squeezing procedure is completed, when the Segment comes up towards the Top End position, Take out the Product with the Magnet and measure the Squeezed part with the Vernier Caliper.

The parts to measure are,

1)    Outer Diameter of the  Squeezed Product.

2)    Flange Height at the entry side

3)    Total Product Length

Final Procedure is to Check the appearance of the Removed Substrate.
